Within the scope of the socio-economic evaluation, the need for regulation, acceptability and conflict potential resulting from the treatment of the sewage sludge and the utilization of the by-products or residual materials are first identified. From this, obstacles are derived, which stand in the way of the implementation of different process technologies for sewage sludge treatment. The development of central measures and recommendations should simplify the implementation and should be processed via interactive information graphics and made available in a suitable form.
