Departments and Facilities
The equipment of the institute includes a technical department, several laboratories and various experimental facilities. These are located both at the institute and in an experimental hall on the campus Lichtwiese as well as at external testing field in Darmstadt-Eberstadt.

Foundation for the Promotion of the Institute IWAR (IWAR-Förderverein)
The Institute is supported by the Foundation for the Promotion of the Institute IWAR. Funding is provided through publications and financial subsidies, e.g. for the expansion of research facilities.
