• Semi-centralized supply and disposal systems for urban regions in China – sub-project 2 – grey water treatment with biofiltration (founded by: BMBF)
• Aerated biofilter with seasonal varied operation modes for the production of irrigation water: investigations on storing strategies for preservation of biomass activity (founded by: BMBF)
• Analysis of the boundary conditions for use of treated waste water as well as for reclamation and disposal of residual materials, coordination of the core project B “sanitation and water reuse” within the joint research project: “Export-oriented Research and Development on the field of waste water” (founded by: BMBF)
• Elimination of endocrine disrupting compounds from waste water with biofiltration (founded by: Fritz und Margot Faudi-Stiftung)
