WieBauin
Reuse building materials innovative

WieBauin aims to reduce the use of land and raw material resources in the construction sector by reusing building components and recycling building materials that have already been used.

Value chains from the owner of demolished buildings to users of the components and building materials recovered during demolition are developed and a mutual economic and ecological advantage is created. A building and material register is established and opportunities for village and urban development are opened up through central development areas.

Results of WieBauin range from instruments for addressing owners to the development of a building and material cadastre to a material flow model for reducing resource consumption. Transferable business models for the city-regional circular economy are linked to this. Training modules support architects, builders and craftsmen in the use of recyclable building components.
