Zukunftsforum Kunststoffkreislauf 2025

How can a sustainable plastics industry be achieved in Germany – one that conserves resources, is innovation-driven, and is fit for the future? Which technological, political, and social courses need to be set to achieve this?
These key questions will be addressed at the “Zukunftsforum Kunststoffkreislauf 2025”, which will take place in Berlin from July 1st to 3rd, 2025. The conference brings together leading representatives from science, industry, politics, and civil society and creates a framework for interdisciplinary dialogue and the exchange of insights, experiences, and perspectives. The Forum is a joint event of these two BMBF funding initiatives:
• Resource-efficient Circular Economy – Plastic Recycling Technologies (KuRT)
• AI Application Hub Plastic Packaging – Sustainable Circular Economy through Artificial Intelligence
The aim of the conference is to showcase the scientific progress and latest findings of the funded projects. With specialist symposia, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive formats, the Forum offers a platform for networking, knowledge transfer, and the development of joint solution strategies.
