2020/09/21

Cheolyong Kim received a Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from the Pusan National University of Korea. During his Ph.D., he investigated mechanisms of persulfate activation by nanosized zero-valent iron (NZVI), electric current, and humic substances. Afterward, he continued his research as a visiting scholar at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG) and as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Cheolyong Kim has been studying the mechanisms involved in sulfate radical based water and wastewater treatment processes in the department of Environmental Analytics and Pollutants (UaS) since the beginning of September.
